1. Information we collect
When you submit an enquiry or contact us, we may collect your name, business or practice name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, the service you are interested in, your proposed start date and indicative budget where provided, and the information you choose to provide about your needs. Please do not submit confidential patient records, health information or other sensitive personal information through the general enquiry form.
Our hosting, email, security and font providers may also process limited technical information such as your IP address, browser, device and server logs when you use the website.
2. How we use it
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, understand the system or service you are asking about, communicate with prospective and current clients, prepare proposals, provide agreed services, maintain and secure the website, meet legal obligations and keep appropriate business records.
3. Basis for processing
Depending on the circumstances, we process personal information with your consent, to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement, to perform an agreement, to comply with law, or where our legitimate interests or those of a third party permit it under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
4. Marketing
Submitting an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. If ThinkDiode introduces marketing communications, we will send them only where you have chosen to receive them or applicable law otherwise permits, and you may opt out at any time.
5. Sharing information
We may share information with trusted providers that help us operate our hosting, website, email, communication and business systems, and with professional advisers where necessary. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect lawful rights. We do not sell personal information.
6. Storage and security
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, our legitimate business records, an agreement or legal requirements. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect it, although no online service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Cookies and technical services
ThinkDiode does not currently use advertising or marketing cookies on this website. The website's hosting infrastructure and externally supplied fonts may still process essential technical requests and logs needed to display, secure and operate the site.
8. Your rights
Subject to POPIA, you may ask whether we hold your personal information, request access or correction, ask for deletion where appropriate, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Email hello@thinkdiode.co.za to make a request.
9. External services
This website may link to services operated by other organisations. Their own privacy notices and terms apply when you use those services, and ThinkDiode does not control their practices.
10. Complaints and contact
Please contact us first at hello@thinkdiode.co.za so that we can address your concern. You may also lodge a POPIA complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as ThinkDiode's services or legal requirements change. The effective date above shows when this version took effect.
